Environmental Energy Reading
While they all clear negative energy and create positive energy in any environment, each mandala has its own energy balance. Some mandalas may be better suited to certain locations. For this reason, I recommend contacting me with the address in which the mandalas and music will be used. I will do an energy reading for the location and recommend which are best suited for the location.
Since the mandalas and music work together, I recommend choosing a mandala and at least one song. However, it’s perfectly fine to start with one or the other.
Once an order is placed for a mandala, I create the mandala by hand and add special adjustments to meet the location’s specific energy needs, personalizing each mandala.
Music Tips
Feng Shui purifying music clears negative energy patterns and energetic debris using specific vibrations and rhythm.
First, choose a song from our Music Library. Stand in the center of the space and think about the type of energy you want to get rid of. For instance, “I want to clear the anger and dark, heavy energy from my house”.
Next, think about the energy you want more of. For example, “Please fill my home with joy, patience, and kindness.”
Finally, play the music using the best speakers available to you. The music doesn’t need to be loud to be effective. Repeat this process at least once a day until you notice a lasting shift in the energy. Then, you can play it as often as you like and as needed.
Mandala Tips
In Feng Shui, the center of a home is the heart & health section. Positioning the mandala in the center of a home sends positive energy into all areas of your home and life equally. Hanging a mandala in the center of a wall achieves the best flow. Then, leave at least 12 inches (30 cm) of space free of other objects on all sides. Use the two hand-tied Lucky Knots and bamboo rod provided to display the mandala, because it is important to have open air space on all sides and surfaces of the mandalas.
Note: Do not display the mandalas enclosed behind glass unless you are hanging them primarily for decorative reasons.
Feng Shui Q&A
What does Feng Shui have to do with mandalas and music?
Feng Shui teaches that the quality of energy in an environment is an important factor in the well-being and success of everyone who spends time there. Positive energy supports growth and longevity, where negative energy causes disease and decay. Growth and decay are both important in nature, but they need to be in the right balance to be beneficial. Both mandalas and music have been used for thousands of years to manage energy flow and support energy patterns that lead to a healthy, well-balanced environment in which everything and everyone in it thrives.
What makes Harmonic Mandalas different from other art?
Mandalas are more than beautiful. There is a long history of using mandalas in prayer and meditation, as they represent all of the elements in nature and life, and in the universe. Harmonic Mandalas are specifically designed to clear negative energy patterns in a space and reorganize it into positive, supportive energy that is balanced. This, then, supports the growth and development of everyone who resides in the space the mandala is displayed.
How do I use the mandalas?
Hang the mandalas on an open wall with no other items displayed within 12 inches, or 30 cm, on any side of it. Try to keep the mandala out of direct sunlight to protect the paper. Do not frame the mandala under glass. It is best to hang it with the bamboo stick and the Lucky Knots provided with it, but it can be hung close to the wall or out from it to your preference.
The mandalas clear negative energy and reorganize it in a space, but they do not absorb negative energy, as is the intention of some spiritual paper items. In this sense, they are self-cleaning and re-energizing, so they do not need to be discarded or replaced due to a loss of power.
What is Feng Shui Music?
Feng Shui Music uses specific tones and rhythms to clear negative energy and create positive energy. This wisdom comes from ancient and modern teachings on the use of sound for healing and releasing negative energies caused by our physical and emotional environment.
How do I use the music?
It is best to play the music over good quality speakers into the space you intend to clear. Play the music initially at least once a day, more if you would describe the feel of the room or home as “thick,” “heavy,” “dark,” or “muddy.” Also play the music after arguments, in times of grief or a lot of worry, and after guests have visited (even if the visit was friendly and enjoyable).
As the energy quality improves, play the music at least once a week and as needed. You can mix the music up as you see fit or play your favorite piece again and again. Over time, you may find that one or more songs seem to work best for your space.
I just moved. Where should I start?
If you can, clear the new location with music before moving in any of your belongings. Clear each room at least once. Then, clear after you’ve moved in, playing the music from the center of the house at least once a day for a week, then at least once a week for a month, and then as needed and at least monthly or as often as you would like. Leave a space to hang the mandala until you’ve situated your belongings, and then hang it when it won’t be damaged.
What is “negative” and “positive” energy?
First, I am using the terms “positive” and “negative” energy to mean supportive vs. destructive energy. This clarification is needed because extremes of any kind are destructive. Even an overly positive attitude can be destructive because it stops us from seeing the reality of our situation and making wise choices.
“Negative energy”, or destructive energy, can be pictured like a bunch of scratchy pen marks drawn this way and that on a piece of paper. It is chaotic. It is draining and depressing. While it can be ignored, the results of it are still felt and seen. If you’ve ever entered a room where an argument has just taken place and you can feel the tension left hanging in the air, that’s negative energy.
“Positive energy”, or supportive energy, is more like smooth wavy lines that work together in a healthy pattern. If you’ve entered a room where there has recently been laughter, joy, and a general sense of nurturing warmth in the air, that is positive energy.
See the photos below for examples of positive and negative energy flow patterns.
What causes negative energy?
There are a variety of conditions that can create both negative and positive energy patterns. People leave an energetic imprint on the space they spend time in, and energy from the physical environment impacts the people in the space, as well. Everything and everyone emits and absorbs energy to one degree or another.
Emotional Negative Energy Sources:
- Longstanding anger, fear, depression, grief, anxiety, etc.
- Frequent and/or intense arguments.
- Families or coworkers in constant conflict.
- Violence.
- Gossiping, ill-wishing, spreading rumors, and other lies.
- Greed, selfishness, and arrogance.
- Jealousy, back-stabbing, and scapegoating.
- Addictions of any kind.
- Extreme emotional conditions of any kind.
Environmental Negative Energy Sources:
- A home that is cluttered, dirty, and generally neglected.
- Communities in conflict.
- Entertainment that encourages violence.
- “Dirty electricity” devices, such as WiFi, DECT and cell phones, cell towers, wind turbines, etc. Read more about dirty electricity and its impacts on health here.
- Pollution, such as dirty air, water, as well as dirty cities and towns.
- Extreme environmental conditions of any kind.
Will these get rid of ghosts?
The mandalas and music will clear out residual negative energies from those who have occupied the space previously, living or deceased. If the energy they left behind had a positive energetic influence, it will remain. This includes energy that is associated with an object or personal items that belonged to someone before you.
Cleaning up the energy in a place can make it uncomfortable for entities that resonate with chaotic or murky energy, so they may leave on their own accord as the energy clears.
You also have the right and power to tell them they are not allowed to be a nuisance, to mess with objects, people, or animals, or to do anything to scare anyone. Tell them that if they do, they won’t be welcome. They may just want to get your attention, but if it’s bothersome, they need to be told to respect your space and limits. They have their own work to do, and sticking around pestering you doesn’t help you or them.
If there is a dangerous or destructive entity in your environment that doesn’t respond to these techniques, I recommend contacting someone who specializes in moving on the deceased or dealing with malevolent entities.
Is there anything else I can do to create positive energy?
Mandalas and music need your support, too. The residents of the home can improve their personal energy by verbally and physically communicating with sincerity, kindness, and compassion towards themselves and others. This energy shift comes from inside ourselves out into our environment. Making these mindful changes with a sincere heart creates a positive give-and-take effect that ultimately improves your personal well-being and supports positive energy surrounding you and within your space.
How do I create positive environmental energy?
We have some control over certain environmental factors, such as how clean, uncluttered, and well-maintained our home and land is, our attitudes and behaviors, or how much time we spend on electronic devices. Improving these things improves the energy in ourselves and our environment.
However, there are some environmental energies we have little to no control over, such as the energy left behind by previous occupants, the quality of energy in the earth and water surrounding our home, or cell phone tower placement, the state of the electrical grid, and other earth-generated energies. This is the primary work of the Harmonic Mandalas and Music.
The mandalas and music help reorganized this chaotic energy, improving the atmosphere in our homes, which sets the stage for improved energy in the residents. As you can see, everything is in relationship with everything else, and what goes around comes around. To break a negative cycle, we need to break up and reorganize detrimental energy patterns. The music breaks up and clears negative energy, while the mandalas reorganize energy into balanced, smoothly flowing patterns.
